Toast

I have a thing about it . I adore it . I crave it . I dream of it . With age the allowability of toast declines. It is bread . Bread is BAD for aging hips and joints and and, so toast can no longer be good. SO a wise man summed it up very well last weekend as we waited for our breakfast to be served.

"Toast should not fold."

So there you have it from a wise man!

Life is too short to eat bad toast. Toast should be crunchy and golden to brown-black , it should be coloured on both sides and buttered to the very edges (unless you want it unbuttered) It should never fold, not ever. The only exception to this rule is if it has been dunked and then only AFTER dunking!
